Hi All:
Just got back from the much needed doctors visit and all went well.
She did say that I more on track with 23 weeks this week then I was last week so I am staying on the 23 weeks chart for now. Still keeping due date at Dec 7th and that works. Hoping to go the full term and then induce once the 7th hits. COME ON BABY C..work with momma! LOL
Heard the baby's heartbeat and it was 160 bpm today. Faster than it has even been. The fastest I had ever heard it before was 157. Still way under what other people are logging with 174 bps and they know they are having a girl....so still unsure of the sex!
I weighed in at 151lb...wow..I have never been 151 lb in my 42 years so that was a little shocking I am tracking well on weight. Must be those bean & cheese burritos and Crustables helping me keep my weight down. HA!!! I am 15 lbs since I weighed in May so again, they expect 30lbs at the end of the pregnancy so I am doing well. Need to watch what I am eating but overall, she said with only 17 weeks left and .5 lb per week..I am good with weight. WHEW.....
I will continue to see the doctor on a monthly basis until the first of Sept and then it will go bi-months or every two weeks. My next visit is early Sept and it will be my glucose test where I have to drink some orange sugar stuff to test for anemia and diabetes. FINGERS CROSSED and prayers will be said the day of as it would be nice to pass those as well.
It was confirmed that I have an Anterior placenta. (PRITHA...is that right on the terminology?)...where my placenta is in the front of my belly. Hence the reason that I cannot feel the lil bugger move at all. The spongie-like placenta is taking in all the movement. Darn. I guess that is quite normal and only if it moves down infront of my cervix would there be an issue so she said enjoy the non-movement as when I do start feeling Baby C it will keep me up at night. HA
They start measuring the end of Sept and they start having us keep track of the kicks at that time as well but for now, it is pregnancy as usual. I was cleared for travel and continued working and she said all looked good. We even reviewed my 20wk ultrasound & blood tests once again with her confirmation that everything was normal/negative. Hence the reason they took me off HIGH RISK. YA!! WAHOO!
Baby Showers are moving along with invites going out or going out soon for the 1st two. All of you are included on one of them or a few as I was not sure what dates would work for you...if any...so expect to see them soon. Sept 12th Military shower in San Diego off the 15, Sept 19th Family shower with a few friends in Lake Forest and Oct 24th Civilian shower off the 5. Gonna be so much fun to see you all and catch up if nothing more. Can't wait!!!! Thanks to Michelle and Lois and Bev and Tina and Sara and of course Mom for hosting. Love you guys!!!
I am off to Chicago tomorrow for the weekend meeting customer and friends and family for the Blue Angel shows this weekend. Busy weekend for sure with 2 shows, 2 dinners and then flying home on Sunday. Quick and fast..just how I like it. HA! Anyone going to the show that I don't know of email me at sdtraceycollins@yahoo.com.
Chris is home (SAN DIEGO HOME) on the 19th late and heads back on the 23rd. He is anxious to get home and sleep in his own bed, get some down time with us and hang with Oscar. Plus do some yardwork, house stuff and see some friends. Our non-planned weekend(Chris said no plans were to be made) got all planned out.
Happy Wednesday everyone. I included a pic a recent photo of me and Sara at her 2nd bday sushi celebration (Mom and Tina were there too but not pictures). Sorry no belly photo but I love the photo of us. Great photo Tina!!
Love to you all.
Tracey and Baby C
