Hi All:
I think I might be ahead in my weeks but won't know for sure until my doctors appt next week on the 11th. I will update then but for now, I will stick with this being my 23rd week!!!
Again, not much to update on Baby C...although I am up to 151 lbs which is still inline to where I should be as I have gained about 16 lbs since my first doctors visit. People will agree that I am smaller in the morning and then get larger in the afternoon. Swollen maybe? I don't know but by mid-morning, I am sticking out pretty far and there is no hiding me being pregnant at this point. LOL. Plus still no movement. Come on Baby C.
The doctor did say that the on my original ultrasound through the high risk doctor, my due date was pulled into to the 31st of November, then with my last 19 week ultrasound it was pushed to the 14th of Dec. My current doctor uses the average of the two which ends up being my first due date of the 7th of Dec which works for us all. The nice thing about that date is that if Baby C is not born by the 7th, we will "induce" at the first available oncall day with my doctor after that date. I was induced with Michael 21 years ago and had such a great experience that I am opting for it again but you have to hit your due date first before they will induce.
I started really looking into a nanny or help with Baby C once I go back to work in Jan and I have offers from neighbors and friends and friends of my son's to help. Thanks everyone and I will get working on talking with Chris and figuring out the best solution for us all.
My mom came out to visit last week and we kicked off the weekend with sushi with Tina & Sara and had a great night. We laughed at a few stories of the 2 roommates and still talk it about today. Love you guys. (Pic from the night included in this blog.) Took mom to see the "vanilla" Babys Dream crib and dress that I found at USABABY and although she loved it as much as I did and I do love it, I am still leaning toward the PBK Larkin crib and long dresser with changing table option in Espresso. Pricey but it is solid and beautiful and should last for years to come!
I also got some more stuff for the nursery that I found on sale and some friends sent me some surprises as well (Thanks Mary for the bouncer and monkey socks)....so the nursery is starting to look like a baby's room. Michael and his friend even cleared out the old dresser and bed so now I just need to get the carpets cleaned and the walls repainted and it will be ready for the crib and dresser ..oh and Baby C come Dec!!! So excited to start moving forward on the room.
Chris is in Seattle this weekend as they leave Alaska today and arrive in Seattle this afternoon. I have quite a few people from my work (ASG) in the Seattle area going so I am sure they will have a great time and see a great show. Lots of the wives are going to that show as well so have fun girls and I will miss being there once again. Cheer loud for the guys and for #4 please!!! Thanks.
Dinner tonight with Adriene and Maddy....Taco Tuesday night ?maybe? at the house and then dinner wtih Heather and kids tomorrow in Carlsbad. Cannot wait. Work dinner at Dave n Busters on Thursday with the ASG Crew and then our Annual ZOO NIGHT with ASG on Friday. Should be fun. Saturday is breakfast bday celebration for my friend Erin and then 2 kid b-days on Sunday afternoon. Whew...busy week/weekend ahead but fun too!
Love to you all,
Tracey and Baby C
