Hi All:
Not much to report regarding the growth of Baby C. I am definately showing as I hear people go "WOW you have really grown" when I see them after a few weeks. Still no movement that I can feel but doctor said it should happen between 22-26weeks for me. Darn Placenta being near my belly and taking in all the movement from the baby.
I went shopping this past weekend with Dana and hit up a few consignment stores which we found nothing and then hit up USABABY and found a few things. Found a great deal on a sleigh crib and matching dresser and hutch but it is in vanilla color. Not really a white but not really off white...I love the color but I planned on Espresso to go with all the rest of our house. I have until Saturday before the sale ends so we will see. It is called BABY's DREAM CRIB TO COLLEGE if anyone is interested in checking it out to see what I am talking about on colors. I still love Pottery Barn Kids Larkin crib and changing dresser so might just suck it up and spend the $$$ and get it there. They have In Home delivery and set it up and all the reviews are glowing. Crib goes to toddler bed as well so we can use it for years to come. Plus it is in the Espresso color!!!
I am trying to eat better but still struggling to eat a lot during the day. I am just not a big "eat all day'er"! HA When I go out to eat with friends, I try to get in my salad, veggies and poultry or meat but still tough. Although today's lunch consisted of left over chicken tenders, butter pickles and Smuckers Uncrustables with Grape Jelly. Plus a XXX vitamin water. HA....great combo huh?
Baby Showers are starting to get planned which is so cool as they make this pregnancy that much more real...when I get to see all my friends and their support! Thank to Tina, Sara and Michelle and Lois and my mom for planning and hosting. Baby C is going to SPOILED before he is even born. Look for your invites or save the dates soon. We broke up the showers to make it available for everyone. Military family, Civilian (non-Military friends/family) and then small shower up at my mom's for family! Cannot wait and thanks again!!!!!
Chris is in Anchorage AK this week and weekend and then off to Seattle next weekend to start off his August shows. Anyone going to the shows? I am meeting up with him in Chicago on the 11th of Aug and cannot wait. Going to see friends that I have not seen since 1996 and even take a customer to the show on Friday and Saturday while there. Good times. Just for fun, I attached a photo of Chris and I from Traverse City Michigan. Loved that visit.
Well dinner with customer tonight so need to get back to work and get ready in a bit. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARA...as today is all about you girlfriend!!! And Mom...see you Fri to hang for the weekend. Glad you are coming down.
