Hi All:
Just getting back from Chicago after seeing Chris for the weekend show and it was such a great time. Chris was a bit under the weather but I liked the low key nights and just hanging with my man. The show was amazing with the Chicago bldgs in the background and over the water. Go Blues!!

The most exciting moment of the weekend though was Sunday morning when I woke up and I felt Baby C move. Chris was laying next to me and I grabbed his hand and yelled "Feel Feel...Baby C is moving" and Chris got to feel it too. Pretty much I am feeling it now in the mornings as I wake up. Felt the movement again this morning below the belly and LOVING IT! The doctor said 24-26 weeks and she was spot on. YA!!!
In Chicago we got surprises from friends and family for Baby C and I put them in the nursery this morning. Baby blanket, giraffe and onsie from the Broadbents and a Alaska animal hand puppet and sweater from Pat and Rich Reddit. Loved them and thanks again guys for thinking of us.
My next appt is Sept 9th and then I start my bi-monthly appointments for 1 months and then weekly from Oct 19th on. Whew...it is surely going fast that is for sure. Chris is home this week..with his FALL BREAK and a much needed time at home. We are visting with friends, having another ultrasound on Sat and then Chris flies home on Monday. It will sad to see him go as I wont see him again until Sept 21st in Hawaii for another week/wknd show.
That is for now. Hope you are all enjoying these last few weeks of August and summer months. Cannot believe summer is almost over and school start soon if not already!
