PINK PINK PINK!!
Well most of you know by now as we did some mass texting and phone calling on Saturday to update those that we had in our phones, but we are having a GIRL!!! We decided to find out during the 25th week Ultrasound session. Chris and Michael went with me and we all decided to did want to know and wham....the lady doing the ultrasound was like "See, it is a girl" and shows us 3 dark white lines that indicate girl for sure. Chris even noted "Are you sure as I dont need a surprise on Dec 7th?" and she said yes, no way I am wrong!!
I think we are all still in shock and awe over the fact that Baby C is a girl as I was 99% sure it was a boy for some reason and I was convinced the lady would be just confirm my guess but nope, wrong once again!
We have had fun this weekend with Chris in town talking possible names, colors for the nursery and more. I started to jump on the registries for the shower to add in some PINK and GIRL ITEMS to it since know we know and so do you so check out amazon.com and babysrus.com for the updates soon. I so need to go shopping now for PINK! LOL
Chris leaves today so bitter sweet day for us. He has been here for the last 4days and we have taken in every last minute together. We attended a Going Away Party for the Sjobergs on Friday night where we got to wish them farewell (Eric this week and Chrissy in a few months) and also got so see some friends so overall great night. Saturday was errands and Brueggers Bagels for breakfast, visiting with the Scalise's and saw their new pad(amazingly beautiful) and get to see their new daughter who just turned 1 Ciara ( beautiful as well ) and we ended the night hosting a dinner with some new BLUE ANGEL members for Team 2010/11. Great to meet David and Jennifer and see Lindsey, Brent and Riley once again. Another good night.
Sunday was church was a great message about Why GOD?, followed by lunch at The Burger Co. downtown at Seaport Village..beautiful day to be near the water and in San Diego. Ran some baby errands and then headed out to dinner with Michael and some friends Erin and Scott to end the day. Great weekend for sure and we found out we are having a BABY GIRL! WOW...what a weekend!
Chris is off to Portsmouth NH this weekend and it is filled with family and friends arriving to cheer him on. Go #4!! My next trip planned is Hawaii on the 21st of Sept so about a month before I will see Chris again so a little bumbed but lots to do here in the meantime with work, life and preparing for the lil one. Girls..give me a call so we can plan some dinners and weekend outtings to keep the time moving forward!
Off to get some work done and get Chris packed and even start packing myself for SJose as I head up there Wed-Friday for work. Not looking forward to the trip but need to be up there to support by customer and vendors. Also Michael finds out about a job offer so fingers crossed and prayers said please!!! Thanks!
