WEEK 20 (1/2 way point)

Hi All:

Tomorrow is my 20th week according to Chris's IPHONE calendar and that means that we are 1/2 way there. Where is the time going? Seems like yesterday I found out I was 8 weeks pregnant and barely feeling pregnant and although I still dont have many symptoms I am looking pregnant for sure. Someone even asked me if I was having TWINS the other day. PLEASE ULTRASOUND SAY NO..not sure I could handle twins at 42. LOL

Baby C and I are in Pensacola this week with Dad to Be Chris. It was his Beach Home Show weekend and we have been having a great time. Some needed quality time as well so all good here. Saw Chris's show on Friday from the beach with Kim's family (Thanks again Kim for the invite), Saturday was a BA Newbie Party and it was fun dressing up in 70's although I had a hard time feeling "GROOVY" with this belly of mine. The night was a blast but ended shortly around 11:30pm as my legs and feet started swelling, first sign of pregnancy for me...after being on my feet all night. Chris had Sunday and Monday off so we are taking in the down time with dinners out, mini golf last night, beach today and tonight dinner with Kim and family. I fly home Tuesday night and Michael is picking me up. I cannot wait to get in my own bed and snuggle with Oscar.

This is my 2nd to last visit to Pensacola for the Blue Angels 2009 and 2010 teams. Bitter sweet as well but I will say that going to the airshows is helping get Baby C acclimated to the JET NOISE as I do see Chris and I going to quite a few shows in 2011 and years to come. These past 2 years have been amazing. More on that in another venue but thanks to all of you who were a part of it, from the team members, the wives, the friends I have met along the way, and especially family and friends that have supported Chris and I thoughtout...even wearing I LOVE #3 and #4 shirts proudly!! Love you guys.

No real news on Baby C. I still haven't really felt him/her move yet. Doc appt on the 14th of July and then BIG Ultrasound on the 15th. We are still NOT FINDING OUT and moreso as Chris will not be with me and I want that moment, if we end up doing it at all, to be with both of us together. We have an ultrasound again in Aug when Chris is here visiting San Diego for a long weekend and should be able to tell the sex during that session but again, right now we are still NOT FINDING OUT. Sorry Shannon....as I know you so want to know! We do too but want to keep as much of it a surprise as we can for as long as we can if possible.

Thanks to my friend Judy for handmaking matching Beanie and shoes with a C on them. AMAZING. Congrat's to Lori and Paul on their new arrival of baby girl Kamyrn and to JenCW and Matt for the arrival of Baby girl Piper Jayne last week. Congrat's to Brent Stevens once again for making the Blues Team 2011. CELEBRATION TIME! Plus I need to do a quick shout out to all those that are pregnant with me....JenB, Shana, Kelly, Christine and Dana. Did I miss anyone?

For those that want to know, Chris is headed to Dayton OH this next weekend for his BA airshow. Sorry to miss it but I know some friends that are headed there to root him on.
